I never knew I needed to see Colin Firth as a dapper yet kickass spy. But now that I’ve seen Kingsman, I wonder why he’s wasting so much time making romantic comedies. Continue reading

Considering this is a Norwegian film, it is quite impressive. I think about some of the crap Australia tries to pass off as entertainment and this is so much better than anything Australia produces. Continue reading

Katherine Heigl being in this film really sours it for me. I have heard so many stories about what a bitch she is, and I find it really difficult not to let that opinion of her influence how I feel about her movies. Continue reading

I think this whenever I see one of his movies, but I really struggle to understand why Christian Slater was such a heartthrob. During the early nineties, he was the shit, and I really struggle to find how he became so huge. Continue reading

This was one of the first movies I bought on DVD. I still don’t know why I did. I never saw A Knight’s Tale at the movies, and really had no interest in seeing it when it was released. I have a real problem with this film. It is not that it is terrible, it is not bad. It is just that the fact this movie exists and was not universally adored meant that we would not be able to get a proper King Arthur film with holy grails and knightly love triangles until everyone got the poor after taste of this average film out of their minds. This second installment of Tarantino’s Kill Bill series is good, but it feels like a bit of a letdown after the high octane volume one that preceded it. Continue reading

The thing I love about Quentin Tarantino’s films are that they are all so different, yet also so distinctively his. All of his films have the same key aspects, despite what genre they happen to be from. Continue reading

Kindergarten Cop is a good merging of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s comedic ability and the genre he made a name for himself in, action. Continue reading
