Sally
To say that I was not sold on the concept of Ant-Man when Ben first mentioned the character is an understatement. It took me months to get on board with Guardians of the Galaxy when it was announced, what with its talking raccoon and walking tree. Continue reading

Jurassic World (2015)
Ben
Jurassic Park is one of my favourite films of all time. Given the impact that Steven Spielberg has had on the world of movies, it is no small feat that this film ranks near the top of his resume. Continue reading
Thor (2011)
Sally
Could it really be only six years since the Thor arm of the Marvel Cinematic Universe began? Because we just re-watched this in preparation for the third installment, and man, does this movie feel a lot older. Continue reading
The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015)
Sally
The Man from U.N.C.L.E. didn’t catch on with the public as strongly as I had hoped. I absolutely love this movie, with my interest instantly sparked by its stylish AF trailers. Continue reading
National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007)
Sally
After repeated viewings of National Treasure, I was willing to bite by the time this sequel was released. If I remember correctly, I even saw Book of Secrets in the theater. And this was back when I maybe went to the movies five or six times a year, so that’s really saying something. Continue reading
National Treasure (2004)
Sally
National Treasure is a movie I spent a lot of time trying to hate. I didn’t like Nicholas Cage. I didn’t like its fictionalized take on American history. I didn’t like how Indiana Jones-ish it was trying to be. Continue reading
Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014)
Sally
I never knew I needed to see Colin Firth as a dapper yet kickass spy. But now that I’ve seen Kingsman, I wonder why he’s wasting so much time making romantic comedies. Continue reading
The Mummy Returns (2001)
Ben
I think the most significant thing about The Mummy Returns is it was The Rock’s feature film debut. I say feature film, because he had been wrestling for some time before that, and anyone who has seen the WWE can probably attest to the fact that there is certainly some acting involved. Continue reading
The Mummy (1999)
Ben
I only recently bought this movie. I had the Mummy Returns for ages, but had never purchased the first film. Somebody clapped at the end of the film when I saw it in theatres, and I can’t even begin to tell you how annoying I find that. Continue reading
Mr & Mrs Smith (2005)
Ben
This film made more press because it apparently ended the marriage of Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt. It is a shame it received so much unwanted attention, as it deflected from the fact that this is a smart action film led by two leads that nobody can deny have smoking chemistry onscreen together. Continue reading
